Joey "The Champ", had an appointment on Tuesday June 14th to get his mask fitted for his radiation treatments. Without sedation he sat patiently as they applied the mesh plastic faceplate over his head and ran a CT of the Orbit. This is the second time Josef has gone without sedation for a process that most usual 5 year olds would! So he dons the nickname "The Champ"!

As we headed home Josef and I wondered around the atrium while Mom grabbed some coffee and chatted with Anne Watts (Josef's Nurse Practioner). When Josef turned the corner he froze as his eyes caught the shiney black paint and large rubber wheels of a real Indy Car sitting right there in the middle of the hospital.

Needless to say we couldn't get Josef out of the car for over 30 minutes! A very shy Josef actually got to meet Formula Racer Katherine Legge!
